Bathing in the Light of Love

We have all had moments when we felt safe enough to completely let go because the presence of love was so palpable in and all around us that nothing other than that love seemed real. You could feel it holding you, touching you just the right amount of strength and tenderness, bathing you in its luminous warmth and kindness, embracing you with a power and a sensitivity that made space for every nuance of every cell to relax and breathe deeply.
“Bathing In The Light of Love” was created in honor of these moments. A celebration of them, a savoring of them, a nurturing of them, and an opening to more of them.
There was so much energy coming through when this painting was being painted. I started this painting one afternoon and it kept me up all night until 11 o’clock the next morning.
This is serene surrender, head tilted back, eyes closed in bliss, as ethereal waves of violet, blue, and gold flow from her hair and body like light pouring from within. The colors blend softly, creating a sense of immersion in divine warmth. Luminous, expansive, infinite. It feels less like a painting and more like a portal: the moment the soul remembers it is held by love, bathed in grace, free to let go completely.
