Windows of the Soul

There is a world difference between looking and seeing. And when it comes to our own eyes or the eyes of another, this couldn’t be more obvious.
How many people are brave enough to withstand the intimacy, the intensity, the vulnerability of truly seeing another human being…and letting them see us at the same time?
The eyes truly are the windows of the soul. Many think penetration happens with our loins, but that’s just plumbing compared to the penetration and reception of seeing and truly being seen. That requires a different kind of courage.
This painting is about the world…the universe that lives inside each and every one of us. It goes deep…all the way to the soul, all the way to The Source. And this is where life becomes magic. This is where life is true and beautiful and good.
This canvas bursts open in electric blues, vibrant purples, molten golds, and radiant whites. Thick, sweeping strokes that feel like energy pouring straight from the soul. Light explodes from the center like a star being born, while swirling layers of color pull you inward, as if you are falling through the iris into infinite depth.
This painting is the visual prayer of true seeing: the courage to meet another without hiding, the miracle of being met without shrinking. When we dare to look this deeply, we don’t just see the other. We remember we are the same light looking back at itself.
“Windows of the Soul” is an invitation:
See.
Really see.
And let yourself be seen.
