The Blessings of Beauty

Beauty is like sunshine.
You stand in it and it warms your cells. It penetrates them. Makes them vibrate at a happier, healthier, more vital frequency. And pretty soon a titration occurs. All of a sudden your cells start shining and radiating like the sun itself. That is what beauty does to us.
This painting is the living embodiment of that radiance.
A luminous female form emerges from deep indigo and violet darkness, her back arched in soft surrender, skin glowing with inner light. Warm rose, gold, and pearl white against rich, velvety purples. Every curve catches and reflects light as if the body itself has become a vessel of grace. There is no separation between flesh and spirit here; the paint flows like liquid light across her shoulders, spine, and hips, creating an almost breathing luminosity that feels both deeply erotic and profoundly sacred.
Beauty awakens us to the glory, the wonder, and the bounty that life truly is. Its majesty touches us, opens us, brings us fully into the awareness of what is magnificent about being alive. Beauty uplifts and inspires us. It turns our attention to the goodness and grace flowing in and all around us.
Beauty can reveal itself anywhere …in a subtle gesture, a heartfelt action, a moment of nature, or the movement of our lover’s form. Beauty lifts us out of the mundane busyness of everyday life and floods life into every aspect of our being.
For me this painting explores the beauty beyond that which is skin deep. The shining and shimmer in all things and all beings when we look through the eyes of the heart. It brings great joy and peace, elicits wondrous exhilaration and a calming serenity all at once.
Standing in front of this painting is not about seeing a woman. It is about feeling the blessing of Beauty in your own body, warming your cells, reminding you that you, too, are radiant.
